Code of Ethics

Oephebia follows her own code of ethics during tarot readings. Integrety is something she strongly believed in passionately.
Authenticity at all time.

It shall be Oephebia’s aim to provide a service to people that reflects her professionalism and her spiritual integrity.
Fees charged for her work reflect the work carried out on behalf of the querent and her abilities and experience.
At all times Oephebia will conduct herself in a manner that enhances and preserves the good name of the profession.
In any circumstances her work should not distress a querent. When Oephebia feels the querent needs are beyond the spectrum of the Tarot, she will refer them to specialist help (a doctor or a qualified counsellor for instance).
During her work as a psychic tarot reader, Oephebia will undertake readings only when asked and will never force someone into having a reading just in order to show off her skills.
At the beginning of a tarot reading, Oephebia will clearly state what the tarot and herself as an interpreter of the cards can do for the querent and what can be expected from a reading.
Under no circumstances Oephebia will talk to the querent about physical death for themselves or members of their family unless specifically asked by the querent before the start of a reading. To reveal such traumatic events will be entirely at her discretion, even when express consent is given to her by the querent.
As a psychic tarot reader, Oephebia have moral and spiritual responsibilities towards the querent. Her readings should enlighten, and guidance should be given to the querent in time of need or confusion.
The future is not still and Oephebia will make sure that the querent understands this point. A reading is given as possibilities rather than certainties and the querent has choices to make in order to unfold their own future.
If for any reason, as a psychic tarot reader Oephebia cannot “connect” with the querent, she will say so and be honest. Obviously, Oephebia will not be tempted to “make up” stories, and consequently charge the querent. Honesty and integrity must prevail at all time.
Oephebia have respect for a querent irrespective of race, gender, colour or religion.
Oephebia will not provide “spying” readings, to see if someone’s is cheating etc….as it is not ethical and infringe the right to privacy of a person who did not give their consent. If you suspect your partner of cheating, there are other means to discover the truth with tangible proof.
Oephebia will not provide readings to people under the age of 18 years old, even with express permission from parents or legal tutors.
Oephebia reserves the right to refuse to do a reading if she feels that a querent is in a fragile state or if a querent ask info that are beyond the scope of a tarot reading (removing of a curse, psychic spying etc)
Oephebia does hereby agree to abide by this Code of Ethics at all times.
